Tofu Scramble


  • 300g tofu - medium firm
  • ½ onion 
  • 2 teaspoons oil 
  • 1 teaspoon salt and black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon onion and garlic powder 
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric powder 
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice 
  1. Drain tofu from container
  2. Wrap in a tea towel and place it on a plate rest another plate on top of the tofu, for 10mins
  3. Unwrap the tofu and cut into cubes
  4. Place the tofu in a bowl, and mash with a fork
  5. Dice the onion
  6. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat
  7. Add the onions, and cook until softened
  8. Add in the tofu and cook on medium heat until most of the water has evaporated
  9. Add the salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and turmeric
  10. Mix well, until all the seasonings are evenly distributed
  11. Add the lemon juice to the tofu and mix until evenly combined
  12. Cook until no liquid is visible 
  13. Serve and Enjoy!

*Serve on toast with avocado, some mushrooms on the side and sprinkle parsley on top
